Composed of three square drawer-compartments within a square carrying case fitted on the top with a silver loop handle attached to the box with two silver fittings cast as flying cranes, decorated overall in gold hiramaki-e with young pines and karakusa on a roiro ground, the two removable, pierced side panels lacquered on the inner sides with two sprays of the same foliage at opposite corners reserved on a roiro and nashiji ground, the interiors of the compartments also roiro and nashiji, the upper and lower rims on two sides mounted in silver
