Each circular with applied conforming lid, the largest with compass, pinwheel, brass tack and chip-carved decorated lid above chip-carved sawtooth and heart decorated sides inscribed E*B 1842 82 YEARS; the second largest similarly decorated with hearts, sailing ships and compass-pinwheels, also initialled EB; the next similarly decorated with long boats and whales; the smallest with chip-carved decoration

Lot Essay
