A Sailor's Diorama of the Brigantine MAUD

The hull of the model is built up from wood and is painted black with a gold cove stripe. The deck of the model is fitted with numerous details including: anchors, stove pipe, ship's boat, figures on deck, skyl;ights, companionway, hatches and other details. The model is rigged with standing and running rigging, two masts, and a full set of carved sails. The model is set in a modeled sea which is painted. The model is displayed in a domed glass case with a simple black base.
14 x 7¼ x 10½ in. (35.5 x 18.5 x 26.8 cm.) cased dimensions.
