A Gaff Rigged Pond Model Of A Racing Cutter

A solid hull model, built up in lifts and hollowed and finished bright. The bottom of the keel is fitted with a lead ballast, and a skeg with the brass rudder attached to it. The deck of the model is shaped from a solid piece of mahogany which has been scored to replicate deck planking. The deck of the model is fitted with numerous brass details which include: bowsprit socket, jib traveler, mast partners, quadrant steering gear with adjustable settings and rubber loaded tension adjuster and a stern plate with traveler bar. The model is fitted with an oval access hatch with a mahogany cover. The model is displayed on a mahogany stand.
