Surmounted by a tied-ribbon, the square frame flanked to each corner by a foliate clasp, centred by a revolving plaque intitled to the centre LES PAPILLONS, depincting five mythological scenes called respectively PAPILLONS DE L'ENFANCE, PAPILLONS DE L'AMOUR, PAPILLONS DE FORTUNE, PAPILLONS DE GLOIRE and DERNIER PAPILLON, signed E.
