A FRENCH ORMOLU AND PATINATED BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK
Of Louis XV style, 19th Century
The restored Roman and Arabic white enamel dial signed 'LIEUTAUD À PARIS', housed within a drum case, surmounted a maiden holding a garland, supported by a bull, on a shaped naturalistic rockwork base decorated with shrubs and foliage and with two maidens on the front corners, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell, with repeat signature to the back plate, the dial restored
18 in. (46 cm.) high; 14 in. (36 cm.) wide; 8 in. (20 cm.) deep
