A FRENCH ORMOLU-MOUNTED TULIPWOOD AND KINGWOOD BUREAU PLAT
The carcase basically mid-18th Century, later veneered and probably originally ebonised
The rectangular top with rounded corners and inset with a leather writing surface, the front containing seven drawers around a kneehole raised on slightly hipped cabriole legs ending in claw sabots, restorations to veneers, restored splits to the side
