Of Louis XV style, 19th Century
Inlaid overall with shaped panels of axe-head pattern, the serpentine rectangular leather-lined top with channelled raised edge, above a green leather-lined slide and a shaped frieze, each end with a drawer, one with divisions, on cabriole legs headed by bearded mask and foliate masks, with rockwork cabochon sabots, bearing the spurious stamp 'F. RUBESTUCK'
