A SET OF SEVEN OCTAGONAL FAMILLE ROSE PLATES
Circa 1730-40
Each brightly enamelled with a lady and a boy on a boat approaching another lady standing under a willow tree and a flowering tree with a young child in a sling on her back, the border with an aubergine-glazed eight-pointed star with flowering lotus reserved on a blue diaper ground forming lappets below the rim, one restored, four cracked
