A UNIQUE JEWELLED, FOUR-COLOR GOLD AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL MINIATURE HARP
marked Fabergé and with the workmaster's mark of Michael Perchin, St. Petersburg, circa 1896
Shaped as a gold miniature harp supported by two chased paw feet, the gold reeded pillar with spiralling foliage surmounted by the two-color gold curved neck set with rose-cut diamonds surmounted by four-color gold chased and engraved foliage and a suspending four-color gold rose garland, the gold-mounted sound box overall enamelled in translucent red applied with gold fleur-de-lys motifs, an oval miniature frame set with seed-pearls encloses a portrait of Tsar Alexander II wearing a Hussar uniform adorning the gold strings with a gold-mounted rose-cut diamond bow below, on an oval stepped bowenite base, marked on the base
