See Régine de Plinval de Guillebon, Porcelain of Paris, New York, 1972, p. 202. Dominique Denuelle of Rue de Crussol, Paris, won a silver medal in 1819 for his meticulous execution and 'a matt gilding which has arrested the attention of conoisseurs'.
