A SÈVRES (SECOND REPUBLIC) PORCELAIN MONOGRAMMED BLEU LAPIS GROUND COUPE
Iron-red doré mark for 1877, green lozenge and incised potter's marks for 1873, incised script E and painted blue G.B.
The broad rim gilt inside and out with trellis and foliate scrolls reserved on the faux lapis lazuli ground, edged by half-quatrefoil flowerheads, the conforming socle gilt on both sides with a W and interlaced C's monogram
14 5/8 (37.2cm.) high; 17 7/8in. (45.4cm.) diam.
