A pair of framed ivory portrait reliefs of Nell Gwyn and Jane Middleton, mistresses of King Charles II**
Circa 1870
Each rectangular, the former with a lamb and flower chain, the latter with fruit and corn gathered in her skirt, the backs inscribed Nell Gwynn/1679 and Mrs Middleton/1679 respectively, in a later gilt frame
Each ivory: 6¼in. x 4 5/8in. (15.9cm. x 11.7cm.)

The Estate of Clara Peck Caulfield, Pasadena, California, purchased Sotheby Parke Bernet, Los Angeles, 8 September 1975.
