A Berlin teacup and saucer
Circa 1775-80, underglaze blue sceptre mark, painter's puce 4. to both
The cup of Sèvres form with entwined loop handle, painted with a flowered initial G flanked by two bouquets below a gilt diaper border divided by gilt husks and enclosing shaped panels of puce scale ornament edged with gilt scrolls, the saucer with four bouquets within a similar border, gilt line rims (some areas of wear to gilding)
