A CONTINENTAL SILVER-GILT SOUP-TUREEN AND COVER
Probably late 19th Century, bearing pseudo French marks
Shaped oval, on four foliate scroll feet, the body deeply repoussé and chased with putti amid strapwork, ribbons and scrolling foliage, a vacant cartouche to either side, with two foliate handles, and rocaille border, the domed cover fluted and with rocaille and acanthus finial, marked on base, rim and cover bezel
