A CYPRIOT RELIEF-DECORATED RED POLISHED WARE JUG
EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2500-1900 B.C.
The spherical body with cutaway-beak spout and handle, decorated in relief with twelve bosses on neck and body, two bands around the neck with larger boss at base, a pair of wing-lugs on the shoulder, a moulded arch below the handle and another on the front below the neck, the relief-work with impressed circles and incised hatches, repaired; and a similar Drab Polished Ware jug, with 'nipple' base, a pierced lug below the spout, four protruding bosses around the body connected by incised relief band, incised decorative notches on neck handle, spout tip restored
