A CYPRIOT INCISED RED POLISHED WARE GOURD JUGLET
EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2500-1900 B.C.
The rounded body with narrow neck and flaring rim, decorated with incised concentric circles and blocks of parallel lines; three others similar, 4½ to 5¾ in. (11.5 to 14.6 cm.) high; a jug with cutaway-beak spout, similar ware, 5½ in. (14 cm.) high; a shallow bowl with two short trough spouts and two lugs, similar ware, 7¾ in. (19.8 cm.) diam.; a Black-Topped Red Polished Ware hemispherical bowl, with twin pointed lugs, one pierced, incised linear decoration, all Early Bronze Age, 2500-1900 B.C.; and two Red-and-Black Polished Ware bowls, similar, Early/Middle Bronze Age, 2000-1800 B.C., 4¼ in. (10.8 cm.) diam. av., all with repair, and some with slight restoration (9)
