Circa 1765, incised 6u
The lobed oval tray painted in soft hues with a rooster, hen and chicks in a landscape vignette, a fallen branch in the foreground with roots extending downward, a shoot with red and green leaves extending upward to frame the scene, reserved on the pink ground within a gilt cartouche of flowers and grasses edged in carmine, the cavetto edge and rim moulded and edged in gilt
