Date cypher for 1868, puce printed crowned ermine seal, green ermine, and impressed uppercase marks, various cyphers
Modelled after a Sèvres Vase 'Ferré', each with reticulated cover and gilt pinecone finial, the oviform body moulded with four panels linked by straps and suspended from gilt ropes and ribbon-tied oak garlands, painted front and back with children in the guise of paramours, named below, one with 'Bouderie' and 'Le Nid', the other with 'La Missive' and 'La Recolte', the side panels with ribbon-tied trophies and rose garlands, raised on a fluted socle and square base
