Modelled after the Sèvres vase Pot Pourri Gondole, of boat-shape with gilt enriched rose finial, the quatrefoil lobed cover and shoulder pierced with pendant garlands, wheat husks and rocaille apertures, the body painted with putti in clouds holding a dove within an oval foliate surround, the reverse with a musical trophy, raised on four scroll feet
