The pair, each of 'London form' painted with the crest of an iron-red griffon issuing from a gilt open crown, the border gilt with variegated stiff leaf tips and a further band of trailing vine; the teacup, coffee cup and saucer painted in iron-red gilt with arabesques on a gilt seeded ground
