FIRST EDITION of the second American atlas. Reid's atlas is preceded only by Mathew Carey's General Atlas, also of 1796. Subjects include North America, South America, the United States, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Deleware and Maryland, Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and the West Indies.
