by Isaac Jones (fl. 1780 - c. 1824) or John Jones III (fl. 1824/1825), marked, struck with the English duty mark for sterling silver 1822-1834, the London assay office mark 1822-1826, London date letter 'i' for May 1824 - May 1825, and the English standard mark 1798-1974 for sterling silver
Oblong box with rounded ends, the cover cast with deer in a park landscape, the concave sides and base cast with foliate scrolls and flowers on a matted ground, the base resting on four flattened globular small feet, scalloped borders and foliate thumbpiece
