The circular white-enamelled Roman dial signed Collas à Paris within a spreading case with claw feet, containing the movement with silk-suspended pendulum and outside countwheel strike on bell, surmounted by a swivel mirror, flanked by a winged putto with a quiver of arrows to his back, on a rectangular plinth centred by a frieze with a relief of cherubs competing at archery, on bell-shaped feet
