Canosan, Hellenistic Period, Circa 300 B.C.
Standing with her weight on her right leg and her left knee bent, the bejeweled figure wearing a pink peplos below a mantle with a purple border that drapes across her torso, over her left shoulder and wraps around her left elbow, her right arm bent and raised, her left arm projecting forward, both palms open, her brown hair center-parted under a thick purple foliate fillet, her earrings gilt, the back of her neck joined to a long ridged strap handle, preserving extensive original polychromy over white slip throughout
