The oblong caddies with reeded and gadrooned borders and slightly domed covers each with detachable cast flower finial, one fully marked on base, one marked on base and rim with maker's mark and sterling mark only, the case applied with mother-of-pearl panels carved with Classical feasts and romance scenes, amid scrolling foliage, flowers, diaperwork and birds, with mother-of-pearl carved rope-twist borders, on four silver scroll feet, with silver hinges and lockplate
