This Cloud II was delivered to Capt. N. S. Mackay of Chadwick Manor, Knowle, Warwick in April 1962. The car was supplied though Jack Barclay Ltd. in London finished in Shell Grey with a Grey interior. Special features ordered were electric windows, combined blinking lights on each door pillar and Dunlop tubeless tyres.
It is not known how long Capt. N.S. Mackay owned the car, but it seems from a plaque in the engine compartment that the car was maintained by Jack Barclay. We do not know who the further owners were until the car went to Japan in 1990s.

At some stage the car has been painted from its original livery to silver, which is finished to a good standard with minor chips to the door shuts and with all panels fitting well. The leather interior has recently been re-trimmed, with little use since is in excellent order however there is evidence of moth damage to the headlining which should be replaced.

Due to the length of time the car has been in the present collection Christie's would recommend that a full mechanical inspection be completed before the car is used. With this re-commisioning completed, it would be a rewarding purchase, as it is evident that the car has had considerable restoration to the bodywork and interior in recent years. It is sold with copies of the build sheets.
