A MING DOUCAI BOWL
Underglaze-blue Wanli six-character mark within a double circle and of the period (1573-1619)
With deep rounded sides rising from a high straight foot to a slightly flaring rim, the interior painted and enamelled with a peach spray in the medallion below a band of florettes around the rim, the exterior with fruit and floral roundels, small section of rim polished
6½ in. (16.5 cm.) diam.
