The gilt case with finely pierced and engraved floral band, the back engraved with a central rose, turned stem with ring suspension loop, gilt dial with Roman chapter ring, rotating central alarm disc, the centre engraved with flowers, fixed steel tulip hour pointer, steel alarm hand, gilt movement with pierced lantern pillars, gut fusee, florally pierced strike and alarm barrels, steel alarm train, countwheel strike on a bell, blued steel balance, finely pierced and engraved back plate furniture, the backplate signed Pierre Roux A Blois
