A Canton enamel hexafoil dish
18th century
painted in famille rose enamels with butterflies amongst sprays of peonies, chrysanthemums, lilies and finger citron, within pale blue and pink Y-pattern and hatch pattern borders, the underside in lime coloured enamels with a cracked ice design -- 4½in. (11.5ms) wide.
