A fine mid 19th-Century miniature six-draw 1-inch refracting pocket telescope,
signed on the sixth draw-tube S. & B. Solomons 39, Albermarle St London, the fifth engraved Adjusting Tube, with objective lens dust cap, baliene-bound body tube and sliding eyepiece dust-cover, raised via a compass into a brass pillar with threaded base and three pointed brass legs, threaded to unscrew for storage in the small red plush-lined and maroon leather-covered fitted wooden case, with two brass hooks and eyes and spare smoked eyepiece -- 5in. (12.7cm.) wide
