signed on the foot J.T. Norman 178, City Rd LONDON, the barrel unscrewing in the middle for storage, with rack and pinion focusing and micrometer fine adjustment, mechanical stage and concave substage mirror and a v-shaped foot, with bull's-eye condensor, two live boxes, stage forceps, two eyepieces, one unmarked objective and one 1in. by E. Swift & Sons, with sixteen slides, some with labels for NORMAN PREPARER, in the original fitted mahogany carrying case -- 12½in. (31.7cm.) high
