Circa 1730, blue crossed swords mark, Dreher's X and blue 4 to footrim
Painted in the manner of J.E. Stadler, of Japanese form, the arched over handle applied with two gilt chrysanthemum heads and painted with trailing flowers, the spout of short tapering triangular section with two flower-sprays, the rim gilt, the body and cover with flowering chrysanthemum and peony with underglaze blue and gilt branches and foliage, the reverse with a similar flowering shrub beneath a border of purple half-flowerheads on an iron-red and purple diaper ground (short crack and minute chip to spout, some minute chips to footrim)
