(Occasional light staining or browning mostly marginal, some pencil annotations.) 18th century mottled calf (rubbed, spine chipped with loss at foot), red edges.
A fine copy of volume four of the French edition of the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum overing England and Wales, the maps here in fine clear impressions, uncoloured. This copy shows some variation of text with mis-set page numbers and catchwords which a previous owner has noted with profuse pencilled annotations. Koeman I BL 42A.
