2° (555 x 350mm). Text in Latin. Engraved armorial title, engraved title to volume I supplied, both with letterpress title overslips, 135 engraved maps, views and plans on 95 sheets, the majority double-page and including one folding on 2 sheets joined, woodcut initials and tail-pieces, mounted on guards throughout. (The titles pasted together as recto and verso, detached and supplied from a slightly shorter copy, one plan browned, folding map partially browned, some damp-staining at folds, mainly marginal, occasionally affecting images.) Contemporary vellum panelled in gilt with central lozenge (spine lacking, replaced with modern cloth, ties lacking, some scuffing).

The second volume of the third Latin edition of Blaeu's town atlas of the Netherlands, published in the same year as the first two editions, but preceding the first Dutch edition. This volume contains two additional maps and extracts from the privileges not present in the second edition. The plates include plans of Bruxelles, Antwerp, Bruges and Louvain. Koeman I Bl 67.
