ORIGINAL PEN AND INK DRAWINGS BY DES ASMUSSEN

A large collection of over one-hundred original pen and ink drawings used to illustrate the 1975 four volume Danish edition of GWTW titled 'Borte Med Blaesten.' Created by the talented artist, Des Asmussen, these beautifully rendered black and white images depict all main characters and all major scenes including Mammy pulling Scarlett's stays, Scarlett professing her love for Ashley, Scarlett killing the Yankee soldier, Scarlett falling down the stairs and Rhett talking with Belle Watling among many, many others. Numerous page and other annotations are pencilled on each piece and many have the Danish book text glued above or below an image. Also included is the four volume Danish edition displaying all the finished illustrations.
