Chevron and chequerbanded overall, the projecting top above a central frieze drawer above a concave recess inlaid with a palm and with palm-inlaid angle-brackets, flanked on the left by two drawers and on the right by a deep drawer, the rear corners with doors, on square tapering legs inlaid with simulated flutes and husk trails, the handles replaced, the reverse with depository label for Jordan & Cook Worthing Pantechnicon inscribed in pencil 'Capt Batchelor [sic]' and dated '.. 3 20', the drawers part blue-paper lined
