A French gilt bronze striking mantel clock, late 19th century
In the Rococo taste, the waisted casing with floral and foliate cast decorative mounts overall, the glazed Roman enamel dial above a seated putto, on scrolling foliate legs, the twin barrelled movement inscribed Paris to the reverse, with countwheel strike on bell -- 16in. (40.6cm.) high
