Grosser Preis von Schweiz 1939 - a fine porcelain trophy by Meissen in the form of a swooping eagle; white over-glazed ceramic sculpture, mounted upon an ebonised wood base having applied silver plaque engraved and inscribed "Ehrenpreis des Deutscher Gesandten in der Schweiz". Minor loss to wing-tip. Height 17ins (43cm).
