A Bitchu Long Sword (Tachi), a Bizen Long Sword (Katana) and a Long Sword (Katana) with mounts (Koshirae)
The first Muromachi period (14th century), inscribed Suyeyuki; the second Momoyama period (16th century), inscribed Bizen (no) kuni ju Osafune Kiyomitsu saku and dated Eiroku sannen hachigatsu hi [Eighth month of the third year of the Eiroku era (1560)]; the third Edo period (19th century), inscribed Toshitsune
The configuration of the first shinogi-zukuri (longitudinal ridge line) with iori-mune (shallow-peaked back) and chu-kissaki (medium point), the curvature koshi-zori; the forging pattern dense itame and the tempered edge suguba with notare (parallel to the back of the blade with pointed undulations), the tip ko-maru (small and rounded); the tang shortened with two peg holes, and the file marks indistinct; silver habaki; in wood storage scabbard

The second shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-kissaki with slight torii-zori curvature; the forging pattern nashiji (pear skin), the tempered edge suguba and the tip hakikake (flame-brushed tip) with a long turnback on the outside; the tang unshortened with modern file marks and two peg holes; copper habaki decorated with cat-scratch marks; in guntai (modern military) mounts

The third shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune and chu-kissaki with torii-zori curvature; the forging pattern indistinct and the tempered edge choji (clove pattern) with a choji midare tip; the tang shortened with three peg holes and the file marks indistinct; copper habaki; koshirae comprising a saya (scabbard) lacquered red with kimpun; the tsuka (handle) mounted with fuchi-kashira finished in shakudo carved with Chinese lions and waves on a nanako ground and menuki formed as crayfish and finished in shibuichi, the tsuba a round iron plate with traces of flush-inlaid gold; 40½in.
