A W.T.E. & S. patent regulating lamp with compatible pewter kettle (spout detached), tin and pewter containers, funnel, a box of matches of German origin and a silver plated tea spoon all contained in original leather traveling case with metal lock

A useful gentleman's travelling kit for both light and for brewing up. The heater for the kettle doubles up as a lamp, although the glass for the lamp is no longer present here. This was probably used on his lecture tours.
