Lot Essay

The Curves, Contours & Bodyhorns film and concert were conceived and written by Ray Minhinnett to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the commercial launch of the Fender Stratocaster in 1954. Fender produced a limited edition run of 40 guitars in association with the project, which were sold to artists who featured in the film and people involved in the production.
