A Reslosound Ltd ribbon microphone of rounded rectangular form pivoted on an adjustable telescopic stand, with original lead and 'banana' plug, the microphone -- 7½in. (19cm.) high; accompanied by a typescript document concerning the provenance on McBain's Sound Service headed stationery, 12th May 1991, signed by Messrs C. and M. McBain stating...The above named business supplied the sound equipment to the Cavern Club, Mathew Street, Liverpool, from the opening of the Club through to 1964. We certify that this Reslosound Microphone is authentic and was used in the Cavern Club by the Beatles and other groups during the 1960s, 1p.; accompanied by a black and white reproduction of a photograph of John Lennon in the Cavern Club using a similar microphone -- 10x8in. (25.4x20.3cm.) (3)
