The pierced foliate back stamped C.B.DALE CO. NO. 195629 and with further stamps, wooden slated seat, conforming end supports, re-painted -- 70¾in. (179.7cm.) wide

Lot Essay

The design, number 195629, was registered and patented by the Coalbrookdale Foundry at the Public Record Office on 1st March 1866, and is seat number 44 in their 1875 Castings Catalogue, Section III, page 225.
