After a Victorian Coalbrookdale design, arched back rest pierced with radiating motifs and foliate ornament, cast iron slat seat, re-painted -- 48in. (122cm.) wide

Lot Essay

This original design (number 90929), was registered and patented by the Coalbrookdale at the Public Records Office on the 20th of April, 1853, and is seat number 20, in section III of their Victorian Castings Catalogue.
