Probably Kairouan, Tunisia, first half 10th century
Sura al-waqi'a LVI, 13-25, manuscript on parchment, 2ff. with 3ll. of fine sepia kufic, red, green and yellow dots marking vocalisation, sepia diagonal dashes marking letter pointing, the end of each verse marked with seven gold dots arranged in a pyramid, two folios with small gold illuminated medallion with the word khamsa in reserve in Eastern kufic marking the fifth verse, one folio with similar large illuminated medallion with the word 'ashrun in reserve, ink on recto slightly faded, slight staining and chipping of edges
