Ottoman Turkey, circa 1570
With cusped sloping rim on short foot, the white interior painted with an asymmetric design of carnations, tulips and hyacinths, in a strong stylised wave and scrolling motif border, the exterior with alternating blue and green rosettes and groups of three tulips, cleanly broken into two pieces and repaired
