A pair of Lowestoft models of pugs
Circa 1780
Both seated, to the left and right, their heads turned, with curled tails, sponged in manganese, the eyes, collars and bells enriched in blue, on rectangular bases (the left hand example with some minor chipping to the ears and edge of base, the right hand example with a replacement tail and a chip to one ear)
