A Spode gold-ground pot pourri and cover
Circa 1825
The body of low bucket-shaped flared form, the shaped gilt rim with knops between gadrooned scrolling lugs, the gilt-ground body painted with a continuous garland of flowers above two moulded bands, on four gilt paw feet, the shallow-domed gilt cover pierced with quatrefoil and circular apertures between lozenge-shaped apertures about a band of white foliage below the gilt flame finial (one knop restored, cover with restored crack, finial restuck and with wear to gilding)
