A garniture of three Chamberlain's Worcester bough-pots
Circa 1800, puce script parks, pattern No. 211
The central bough-pot of D-shaped section on four bun feet, the flanking bough-pots of tapering cylindrical section, the upper parts with a band of stylised gilt flowerheads within gilt-edged lozenges against a red ground edged with black semi-circles at intervals, the lower parts with a band iron-red and gilt foliage, the waisted covers with six circular apertures, the stoppers with gilt cone finials, the central bough-pot with similar borders divided by four pilasters festooned with gilt foliage, the D-shaped slightly domed cover with six apertures divided by smaller apertures, the flower-bud finial flanked by two further apertures (some wear to gilding, finial of central pot with petal lacking and small chip to underside of one corner, one flanking pot with small chip to border, finial of both stoppers restuck, one cover with chipping to flange and restored chip to upper rim, one stopper with restored rim chip)
